The FreeBSD bug that snuck into 1.0.0 breaks quite a few things on that platform. The OS is considered to be "freebs", which is an unfortunate typo :-) Thomas, should we issue a 1.0.1 point release with the fix, to make it easier to debug the other FreeBSD issues? -anil
