You are indeed the secondary author :-) It wasn't clear from my original
email, but I was referring to who discussed the move, rather than who
authored the repositories.  Louis and I decided to move it in order to
make the process of publishing minor updates easier to open up
to a wider development audience, especially since we'd like the plugin
to become as widely used as opam-depext is now.
